Australians Teaching Music in London Schools
We are looking for qualified music teachers with experience working within the UK or similar education system.
The primary obligation of a Music teacher is to provide a context in which children engage with a wide range of music as performers, composers and critical listeners. As a music teacher in London, you have the opportunity to teach a subject that can vary greatly while still reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the children, making the teaching of music most rewarding for teachers and pupils alike.

- Your most recent Music teaching experience should be at the top of your CV - if schools see you as inexperienced then they will not want to part with as much money for your services - so you get paid less!
- Your CV should be brief and to the point and designed to show your best points quickly. Two pages maximum please.
- For each job use bullet points to highlight at least 3 extra special aspects of your performance in the role e.g extra help you gave the Head of Department writing a scheme of work, or attending a course on 'improving performance in afro-caribbean boys'.
- Keep extra curricular activities to a minimum unless relevant to education or very, very impressive (Olympic swimming Bronze or above).
