Australian Teachers Teaching Humanities in London
We are looking for qualified teachers of Geography, History and Religious Education with experience of working within the UK or similar education system.
Humanities teachers are expected to provide a solid knowledge base for our children, enabling them to have a better understanding of the past and present of our species and our planet, and the way they co-exist. The subjects of Geography, History and Religious Education come under the umbrella of Humanities. In a city as culturally diverse as London, there will always be scope for teachers to learn more about, as well as to teach, the subjects of Humanities!

- Your most recent Humanities teaching experience should be at the top of your CV - if schools see you as inexperienced then they will not want to part with as much money for your services - so you get paid less!
- Your CV should be brief and to the point and designed to show your best points quickly. Two pages maximum please.
- For each job use bullet points to highlight at least 3 extra special aspects of your performance in the role e.g extra help you gave the Head of Department writing a scheme of work, or attending a course on 'improving performance in afro-caribbean boys'.
- Keep extra curricular activities to a minimum unless relevant to education or very, very impressive (Olympic swimming Bronze or above).
