Australian Teachers Teaching English in London
We are looking for good, qualified, English teachers with experience of working within the UK or similar education system.
A good English teacher should be able to impart a love of literature and language, and a passion for poetry and drama to children. English teachers should have a belief that children need a good grasp of literary and language issues to succeed in life, whilst addressing the National Curriculum standards for teaching English grammar, vocabulary and reading skills.

- Your most recent English teaching experience should be at the top of your CV - if schools see you as inexperienced then they will not want to part with as much money for your services - so you get paid less!
- Your CV should be brief and to the point and designed to show your best points quickly. Two pages maximum please.
- For each job use bullet points to highlight at least 3 extra special aspects of your performance in the role e.g extra help you gave the Head of Department writing a scheme of work, or attending a course on 'improving performance in afro-caribbean boys'.
- Keep extra curricular activities to a minimum unless relevant to education or very, very impressive (Olympic swimming Bronze or above).
