is a co-educational high school for students aged 11 - 16 in the London Borough of Merton.

The ethos of Tamworth Manor High School is 'Achievement for all our students' .

We have clear expectations of high standards and good behaviour with a strong focus on teaching and learning in an atmosphere of challenge and support. The school promotes a strong work ethic by developing confident, organised and persistent learners capable of working co-operatively with each other.

Our superb new facilities opened in the summer of 2004, providing a highly stimulating climate for learning which brings out the best in our staff and students. New facilities include:

  • Brand new, fully equipped classrooms. Many of our rooms now have Interactive Whiteboards.
(80% of teaching takes place in new facilities)
  • 10 ICT rooms
  • 2 Drama studios
  • 2 Music rooms with recording facilities
  • Sports Hall and Floodlit All Weather Pitch
  • Library
  • Audio Visual facilities for each curriculum area
We passionately believe that success breeds success. Achievement in any one area of the curriculum tends to reinforce achievement in other areas, whether it be the Sciences, Arts or Sports. The school is in the process of applying for Specialist Sports College status. We believe that all children can benefit from the discipline and dedication that mastering a sport entails.
