Springvale Secondary College is a relatively small secondary college, with around 300 students. Our mission is “to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment where every individual is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential - academically, socially and personally”.
The College has a strong academic focus, with the vast majority of our students aiming for tertiary education. Our impressive track record of outstanding VCE results surpasses many government and private schools claiming to provide a better service. We consistently achieve a VCE percentage pass rate in the mid 90s, with almost 90% of our students receiving offers for tertiary courses.
Our academic success is founded on rigorous preparation from Years 7 to 12, supported by a friendly and supportive atmosphere for students and parents that can only be provided in a small-school environment. We know and care for every individual child and their family. We implement a range of individualised academic, coaching and support programs that meet each child’s needs – whether they seek acceleration or require additional support.
Student safety is another priority. Our physical structures are arranged so that the only entry to and exit from the College during the school day is through the main office. In this way we monitor all visitors to the College and ensure total safety of our students.
