Dromana Secondary College is an outstanding example of the potential each secondary college holds within. The staff and students of Dromana Secondary College have a vision for their school that is both exciting and inspiring.
Whilst Dromana Secondary College is located in a rural environment it seeks to build a sense of community on site. Accordingly, there is a strong emphasis on building and maintaining interpersonal relationships, both in and out of the College. Students and teachers are characterised by small teams working together within a subschool environment. The College teaches students to be aware and protective of their environment, develop global perspective and have a special focus on their personal wellbeing as well as that of others.
The College has a vision for their campus that includes the construction of a Community Health Centre, Convention Centre with live-in accommodation, a dormitory accommodation block for international students, a small vineyard and an animal husbandry program. The idea of the College being a living, breathing place of universal learning for all, not just secondary students, is important for the future of our community.
