is a small independent grammar school. It was founded as Church House School in 1820, the name "Ealing College" being assumed sixty years later. In 1957 the School moved to its present site in West Ealing and has been extended in various stages since then.
The students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and it is our aim to help each one, through a personal and caring approach, to achieve his or her full potential. The School accepts students of all abilities as we are confident of being able to add value and quality to the educational attainments of all of them.
Teaching is of paramount importance at Ealing College and always has the first claim on available resources. The student : staff ratio is low and class sizes are mostly very much smaller than in state schools. Whilst traditional, whole-class teaching methods are valued highly, the School maintains a progressive outlook in order to cater for ever-changing educational demands. Close attention is paid to the needs of individual students and the wishes of their parents.
Examination results at both GCSE and A-Level have been well above national averages and those achieved by schools in the London Borough of Ealing. In recent years, almost all of our Sixth-Form leavers have progressed to universities.
