Firstly, we are a non-selective school which means that all are welcome whatever their ability, race or background. Our small class sizes ensure each pupil receives individual attention and guidance.

Considering our mixed ability intake our results are remarkable. This year Commonweal girls achieved 100% pass rate in A level and GCSE and Downside pupils gained entry to some of the country's top senior schools including Caterham, Whitgift, Trinity and of course, Commonweal!

Secondly, Lodge is non-denominational which means that pupils of all faiths are respected with the understanding that within school the only thing that matters is mutual respect and a first class education.

Earlier this year, Lodge became the first independent school in the UK to be awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark, which I believe to be an endorsement of our exceptional ethos and quality of teaching.
