is a happy school where students have a desire for knowledge and are surrounded by those who encourage them to do so. My aim has always been to provide a dynamic environment which recognizes all talents, abilities and beliefs, allowing pupils to thrive academically and socially, whilst preparing them individually for adult life. We encourage our pupils to listen, as well as to speak, and to appreciate those things we can learn from others.
Established since 1887 our exam results are consistently impressive and we possess an excellent reputation both nationally and locally, with boys gaining places at the school of their choice at age 7 and many pupils gaining scholarships to highly selective sixth forms, yet education is about so much more than exams.
