Organisation
Boys are placed in one of five tutor groups. In Year 7 this forms the basis of most teaching groups. Each tutor group is also part of one of five houses and there is an extensive range of house competitions occurring throughout the year.
In Years 8 and 9 setting occurs in English, Mathematics and Science and most teaching groups are smaller. In Years 10 - 13 most classes are organised by ability or by option groups.
