has been a specialist college for Sport since 2000. As a consequence of improvement in academic achievement, the college was offered a second specialism in Mathematics and Computing in 2004.
The college now has a strong reputation for the achievements of pupils and we are determined that each year will be more successful than the previous. This reputation has been earned by committed adults and young people working together in an ambitious environment.

As a part of fulfilling this ambition we have a large building programme drawing to a conclusion this term. New sixth form facilities are being built and a sports complex which includes a new swimming pool, large sports hall, a fitness suite and a dojo is being developed to support our sport specialism. These new facilities will also enhance opportunities for our local community and our parents.
Our college has a vibrant atmosphere and a strong ethos; it has high expectations of all its community and a culture of achievement. Pupils are expected to identity proudly with Ernest Bevin and to want success for themselves, for their families and for the college.
