Abbotsfield School

Nearest underground station: Uxbridge

is the only Foundation all-boys' comprehensive school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is a happy, disciplined, popular and caring school with a reputation for achievement.

There are currently about 600 pupils, between the ages of eleven and nineteen, including a large co-educational Sixth Form that we share with Swakeleys Girls' School.

The majority of our pupils continue into the sixth form and then onto university, colleges and a wide range of jobs and further training. Our overall aim as a school is to equip all our pupils with the skills, knowledge and confidence to enable them to lead fulfilled lives as responsible adults.

We aim:

To pursue academic excellence and personal achievement by all.

To encourage the development of high moral standards, based on respect for oneself and for others.

To develop the resilience and adaptability to meet the challenges of adult life.

To maintain a purposeful, safe and caring environment based on self-discipline and courtesy.

To develop an awareness of global issues and an appreciation of their own and other cultures.
