is the only Local Authority girls school in Haringey.
The school is a genuinely inclusive, diverse, multi-cultural community and is one of London's highest achieving comprehensive girls schools, committed to continuous improvement.
In July 2001 the school was awarded Beacon Status, recognising the success of staff and students in achieving high academic standards.
From September 2004 we have been a Leading Edge school.
Hornsey is a Specialist School for Performing Arts and has been designated as a High Performing Specialist School enabling us to have a second specialism from April 2007.
The school has been awarded:
